MALAYSIA INDONESIA REGIONAL UNDERGRADUATES CONFERENCE (PENAMAN) 2022

Introduction

Background

University of Science, Malaysia (USM) is the only public university that bears the responsibility of being an APEX university and research-intensive university. This responsibility gives USM a major role in ensuring that the country's sustainable development agenda provides universal benefits. To strengthen USM's role as a research university, the School of Social Sciences (SOCSC) and the Student Representative Council of the School of Social Sciences, USM organizes Malaysia Indonesia Regional Undergraduates Conference (PENAMAN)2022.

This trial is the first time it has been held at the Bachelor's degree level. For the first time, the conference will involve public universities in Malaysia and Indonesia. This conference is expected to strengthen the relationship between public universities in Malaysia and Indonesia. It also allows students to get a closer look at the social phenomenon of the society that occurs in the same family as a forum for social science sharing. The final results of the conference working papers will be published in a proceeding.

The theme of the conference is 'Towards Nurturing Future Social Sciences Researchers. Working papers and video recordings of presentations that are submitted will be judged and ranked by a panel of judges. This trial will be conducted entirely online using the platforms of PPSK's official Facebook page, Socsc USM and PPSK's official YouTube page.
